🍝 Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce

🛒 Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

For the pasta:

  • 300 g linguine (or fettuccine)
  • Salt for boiling water

For the Alfredo sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the pasta

  • Boil linguine in salted water until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside (reserve 1/2 cup pasta water).

2. Cook the chicken

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a pan.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Add chicken strips and season with paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. Make the Alfredo sauce

  • In the same pan, melt butter.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

4. Combine everything

  • Add cooked linguine into the sauce.
  • Mix well, adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
  • Add the cooked chicken and toss gently.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
  • Serve hot and creamy!
