
đ§Ÿ Ingredients:
- 1 kg freshwater fish (carp is traditional, cut into pieces)
- 2 large onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 tsp hot paprika (optional)
- 1 tomato (chopped) or 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1â1.2 liters water
- Salt (to taste)

đ©âđł Instructions:
- Prepare base:
In a large pot, add chopped onions, tomato, and green pepper. - Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Cook onions:
Simmer for about 20â30 minutes until onions are very soft.
- Add paprika:
Remove from heat and stir in sweet (and hot) paprika.
- Add fish:
Return to heat and gently add fish pieces. - Season with salt.
- Cook soup:
Simmer for 10â15 minutes until fish is cooked through.
