
Ingredients
- 300g egg noodles or pasta (wide noodles preferred)
- 1 small cabbage (about 700g), finely shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2–3 tbsp oil or butter
- 1–2 tsp sugar (optional, for caramelizing)
- Salt and black pepper
- Optional: paprika for extra flavor
Instructions
- Cook the noodles in salted water until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil or butter in a large pan.
- Add the onion and cook until soft and slightly golden.
- Add the shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Cook on medium heat for 15–25 minutes, stirring often, until the cabbage becomes soft and lightly caramelized.
- Mix in the cooked noodles.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
