🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 medium green cabbage (about 800 g), finely shredded
  • 300 g egg noodles (or any short pasta)
  • 2–3 tbsp oil or lard
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Finely shred the cabbage, sprinkle with a little salt, let it sit for 10–15 minutes, then squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Heat oil or lard in a large pan. Add sugar and let it melt slightly, then add the cabbage. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until golden brown and caramelized (about 25–30 minutes).
  3. Season with salt and a generous amount of black pepper.
  4. Cook the noodles in salted water until tender, then drain well.
  5. Mix the cooked noodles with the caramelized cabbage, toss well, and cook together for 2–3 minutes before serving.
