🧾 Ingredients:

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml milk (lukewarm)
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g butter (melted)
  • 7 g dry yeast (or 20 g fresh yeast)
  • 1 pinch salt

For coating:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Melted butter (for brushing)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Activate yeast:
    Mix yeast with lukewarm milk and a little sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Prepare the dough:
    In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Knead into a smooth, elastic dough.
  3. Let it rise:
    Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.

  1. Shape the dough:
    Roll out the dough and cut into long strips.
  2. Wrap the strips around lightly greased cylindrical molds (or improvised rolling pins), overlapping slightly.

  1. Coat:
    Brush with melted butter and roll in sugar (and cinnamon if using).
