Ingredients

  • 500g green beans, trimmed and cut
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 liter vegetable or chicken broth
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion until soft.
  2. Add the garlic and paprika, then stir for a few seconds.
  3. Add the green beans and broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20–25 minutes until the beans are tender.
  5. Mix the flour with the sour cream until smooth.
  6. Stir the sour cream mixture into the soup and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
