
Ingredients
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ½–¾ cup (120–180 ml) water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add eggs and gradually mix in the water until a thick, sticky batter forms.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Using a spaetzle maker, colander, or spoon, drop small pieces of batter into the boiling water.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the noodles float to the surface.
- Drain well and rinse briefly with warm water.
- Toss with butter if desired.
