- ΒΎ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ΒΎ cup brown sugar
- ΒΌ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- Β½ tsp salt
- 1 cup pecans, chopped & lightly toasted

- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fold in toasted pecans.
- Scoop dough into balls (about 1Β½ tbsp each) and place on baking sheet.
- Bake 10β12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
