Geode Cake Recipe

Ingredients

For the Cake:

• 2½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1½ cups granulated sugar
• ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
• 4 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup whole milk
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt

For the Frosting:

• 2 cups unsalted butter (softened)
• 6 cups powdered sugar
• 4 tablespoons heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Gel food coloring (emerald green, black, and white)

For Decoration:

• Edible sugar crystals (clear or dyed emerald green)
• Edible gold dust or gold leaf
• Fondant (optional, for a smooth base)
