🧾 Ingredients:

  • 300 g wide egg noodles
  • 1 small cabbage (about 600–800 g, finely shredded)
  • 1 large onion (thinly sliced)
  • 3 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

  1. Cook noodles:
    Boil in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare cabbage:
    Sprinkle shredded cabbage with a little salt and let sit for 10–15 minutes, then squeeze out excess moisture.

    Heat oil or butter in a large pan. Add onion and cook until soft.
  2. Add cabbage and sugar. Cook over medium heat for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft, golden, and slightly caramelized.
