
🧾 Ingredients:
- 400 g green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1–1.2 L water or broth
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped

🔸 Optional:
- Small pasta (like csipetke or tiny shells)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Heat oil or butter in a pot and sauté the onion until soft.
- Add diced carrot and cook for a few minutes.
- Stir in flour and cook briefly, then remove from heat and add paprika.
- Pour in water or broth, stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add green peas, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Simmer for 15–20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Add pasta if using and cook until done.
- Finish with fresh parsley and adjust seasoning.
